Woman Elated To Find She Is Exactly Who She Wants To Be After Taking Internet Personality Tests

Julie Sams is a vibrant young woman. She knows that. Everyone around her knows that. So she was relieved and elated to learn that the internet thinks she is too. Julie has been taking those personality tests she sees on Facebook.

“At first I was skeptical… actually worried about taking the tests. It is the internet, of course. But the tests were spot on about me. I answered about 25 questions and it nailed me. They were questions like, ‘Are you more likely to go on a trip or lay in bed all day?’ Another was, ‘Are you more likely to be the loudest person in the room, or do you never say a word?’ It actually freaked me out. Especially when it asked me if I have more than one social media account. I have 10 social media apps on my phone. Next thing I know I get the answer that I am outgoing.”

Sams does not just see the results as an astute evaluation of her life, but also an affirmation of her personality. “I’m obviously an ESTP. I took 12 of these tests and they all said basically the same thing. I’m the life of the party. I’m pretty much always right. I am the most gifted person in my circle of friends. I think these tests were God telling me that I am who He made me to be and I shouldn’t change anything about myself. Still, I wish the Church had some sort of resource that would tell us who we are, and how we can leverage our specialness to become better people. Like… I wish the Church would give these tests to people when they become Christians to help us understand ourselves better. All I got was a Bible.”
