VP Mike Pence Tired Of Being Called "Whistleblower" And "Partisan Operative"
Ever since news broke that President Donald Trump had a controversial phone conversation with the President of the Ukraine where he apparently solicited damaging information from the foreign government, things have gone sideways.
As usual, Trump has taken to the internet to engage the players who seem to be trying to bring down his presidency. He has even called the person who leaked the conversation ‘almost a spy.’ While the POTUS hasn’t mentioned any names, one person close to the President knows who the ‘almost spy’ is, and chose to talk with Unverified Source about the situation.
Unverified Source (US): “Thank you, Mr. Vice President for speaking with us.”
VP Mike Pence (MP): I’m glad to do it. Glad to set the record straight.”
US: “What do you mean?”
VP: “I’m tired of being called a ‘whistleblower,’ and a ‘political operative.’ I’m just an ethical man who would like to be President of the United States someday. If I see something out of the ordinary, that I believe to be wrong and say something about it, I understand that you may not like it. But don’t act like you don’t know it is me. Don’t talk about me like I’m not in the room. I’d rather be called a ‘patriot’ or a ‘Christian’ than ‘almost a spy.’”
US: “So it was you who reported the phone call for possible improprieties?”
VP: “Well, duh! Who else in this administration is going to do the right thing? But I’m not trying to bring down Mr. Trump. I just want to be there when the American people come to there senses.”
