Trump Announces He Has Finished A "High-Tech Invisible Fence" Border Wall
One of the biggest campaign promises made by President Trump during his run in 2016 was that he would build a border wall to secure America and fight illegal immigration. While many of his opponents have fought the idea, many of his supporters have hammered him for not coming through with a wall, and some have complained about Congress not giving him the funds to build it, though he said that Americans would not pay for it. He promised that Mexico would pay for it.
Alas, the embattled President has had enough of the stonewalling, the excuses, and the attacks. Today he held a press conference to say that he has bypassed all formal channels and personally paid for “Invisible Fence” to be installed along the U.S. Mexican border.
“This morning I was walking along the Mexican border putting those little flags along the path where we installed the invisible fence yesterday. I was out there with my MAGA hat on just planting flags. I’ve now planted more flags than any previous U.S. President. We love the people over at Invisible Fence. Great people. They install a lot of fences that cannot be seen. A lot of people don’t know that about them. I told them I was interested in securing the border. They said their fences had protected a lot of border collies. I sad, ‘You’re hired.’”
Unverified Source has reached out to Invisible Fence, which responded that they are not aware of a 1,300 mile contract being authorized. The White House has not produced a receipt. Trump has since tweeted that “The invisible fence wall is there. Believe me. Can you see it? No. That’s because it is invisible. To suggest that it is a fake wall is #FakeNews.”
No word yet on whether how the U.S. government will get illegals to wear the invisible fence collars.
