Spirit-Filled Man Has Such Powerful Faith... God Obeys His Every Command
Mack Hardin is a front row pentecostal. He is a faithful attender, tither, and volunteer at Alive Worship Center. He's sold out. According to him, the only reason he isn't a preacher is because, "They'd never be able to get me from behind the pulpit once I started." Everyone who knows him says he is a man of great faith.
In fact, he really tries to let faith lead the way in his life. He has devoted his Christian life to building his faith. Mack recalls, "I remember as a 26 year-old man sitting in church. The pastor was talking about how faith will move us up in God's order. There is a certain level of faith where we obey God. But then there is another level of faith where God obeys us. From that day on my life verse was his sermon text... 'Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.' (Isaiah 45:11)"
Hardin is not just an observer of the things of God. He now tells God what to do. He has commanded God's hands to give him a raise, bring him a new wife, get him a jet ski, and make Donald Trump the President of the United States. As he says, "I wake up every morning with that verse on my tongue... 'Command my hands.' So I ask myself, 'What do I want God to do today?' When I decide what I want, God doesn't argue with me. He just gets to it. Sometimes the enemy will try to mess things up, but I remind God of the verse, and He is very responsive."
Mack says that some people have tried to tell him that he is misinterpreting that verse in the worst way possible. "I just realize that they are negative people. And I don't need negative people in my life. I just command God to take their wealth and make it mine. I've never heard God decline my request. In fact, I usually don't hear God say anything. He apparently just jumps to my commands without any discussion."
