Social Justice Warrior Injures Himself While Holding Anti-War Banner
Flame Harrison is a prominent social justice warrior. He has been a professional activist for 8 months. In that time he has started a blog, created three social media accounts, and worn several T-shirts with the images of Marxist leaders printed on the front.
Recently at a rally opposing the military and war in general, Harrison was injured while holding a poster board with a protest message on it. "I was holding it and chanting. And then as I was readjusting my bandana, or maybe I was flicking my bangs over... I don't remember... it all happened so quickly... My hand slid along the edge of that poster. I sliced my finger on it. I immediately texted my mom and told her I thought I would be alright, but I may be late for dinner. I must have blacked out, because I woke up on a gurney in the emergency room. I remember lying there thinking, 'If those soldiers weren't out there fighting wars, I wouldn't be in the hospital right now.' People need to realize that their choices affect so many lives."
Flame was shocked that the emergency room trip cost over $1,400. "If we had socialized healthcare, I could have gone to the ER for free to have my paper cut looked at."
