Recent Arctic Blast That Paralyzed America Caused By Kid Leaving Refrigerator Door Open
Just as most wildfires begin with a careless or intentional act, scientists have determined that most deep freeze events also have humans to blame. And we aren’t just talking about 'human impacted ‘Climate Change’. The last week of January saw record breaking temperatures and extreme winter weather events, including wind chill readings that were in the double digits below zero, and life-threatening vortexes.
Investigators determined the cause of that wintry blast that paralyzed a good portion of the country. Wendy Show with NOAA spoke at a press conference yesterday. “The winter storm last week was the most intense that most of us will ever see. After some thorough investigation, we now know what started the event. Apparently a nine year-old boy in Indiana left the refrigerator door open after grabbing some Gogurt. It appears the fridge door was left open for at least 2 hours until his mother returned home from her yoga class.”
Snow went on to explain, “We knew this could happen. For years we have been warning parents, who in turn have been nagging their children about the dangers of leaving doors open. In this case, the front door was also left open by the boy. It was a perfect storm. Between the two open doors, we really didn’t stand a chance.”
While the child will remain nameless, his mother put out a statement. “We are sorry for our child’s actions. I tell him all the time that leaving doors open is not good. I ask him if he was born in a barn. Depending on the time of year, I ask him if he is trying to cool or heat the whole neighborhood. We do our part. But we must be more diligent.”
The mother said her son does take responsibility, but she is disappointed at the amount of “cold shaming” that is being aimed towards the boy. “People are brutal. They call him ‘Jack Frost’ They ask if Elsa is his girlfriend.. They say they hope he melts. The cold shaming just needs to stop.”
