Nation Foolishly Expects Justice After Rejecting Most Merciful Judge Ever
The President of the United States is set to nominate his picks to replace retiring justice Anthony Kennedy. Tonight Donald Trump will announce the first name in the process. For the last week both sides of the political aisle have been arguing about who should and should not be appointed to the highest court in the land.
Ironically, the nation that is arguing about which judge to put on the bench has already rejected the perfect, most merciful and just judge of all. The founders of America were clear that there is a Judge over the entire universe, and that judge is God. They called upon that supreme Judge to guide them and work on their behalf as they established a system of government and way of life that would be just and prosperous.
But in recent decades, Americans have decided that they want to cast off the idea of right and wrong, and justice. They have pushed God out of the marketplace and halls of government. Democrats now want a justice that will allow them to do anything they want to do, including killing babies through legalized abortion. Republicans just elected as President a hedonistic playboy who proudly said he does not need to ask God for forgiveness for anything he has done in his life. These are now the two sides of the aisle. Both groups act like they want justice, but both have rejected the most merciful judge of the universe.
Because God is ultimately fair, He will likely honor America's wishes by giving the nation a court that promises justice, but delivers destruction.
