Man Confidently Faces Death After Liking, Commenting, Sharing Jesus Meme

Charles Buford has lived an exciting but rough life. He is now in his 70s, and facing the end of his life at an assisted living home. Buford has never been a religious man. He did not attend church. He doesn’t own a Bible. He only prays that the horses he picks will win their races. He curses like a sailor. For most of his adult life he spent every weekend at a strip club/casino. But today he told his family that he is prepared to die… and meet God.

He was recently surfing the internet and checking his Facebook when he came across a deal he couldn’t pass up. It wasn’t for Amazon, or IT Works. Instead, it was an offer for eternal life. One of Buford’s friends, who is somewhat religious had posted a meme that informed readers that if they like the post it was the same as saying “Yes” to Jesus. Charles, who had just been diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer, and is a lifelong gambler decided that he would play the odds and actually clicked LIKE, Commented, and SHARED the meme.

His daughter, Mary is very happy. “We have prayed for daddy for years. Every time we went to church on Christmas we would send up a prayer that daddy would go to Heaven. We are so happy he clicked that meme. He’s still the dirty old man he always was. Just ask his nurses. But now he is going to a better place.”
