Local Patriotic Man Shamed For Not Voting For Lesser Of Two Evils In Crooked Election
Danny Graham is a patriot. He owns his home. He supports the local causes. He is a volunteer fireman. He pays his taxes without grumbling too much. He pulls over to the side of the road when there is a funeral procession. He gathers his neighbors on July 4th for a small neighborhood fireworks show. He has even been part of a Revolutionary War re-enactment team for 28 years.
But recently he has been accused of being unpatriotic. This cuts him deeply, but he can’t seem to shake the accusation. “I have voted in every election for the last 30 years. Not just national elections. But local elections as well. But there comes a point when your vote doesn’t actually matter because you end up voting for the liar whose lies you like best. That was never the intention of the founders. I know history. If anything, this type of society is why they included the second amendment… not the right to vote. But my friends insist that the vote is the key to change.”
Janice Wainright recently posted to her Facebook a status that what was apparently a direct shot at her once close friend, Danny, “Sure, there is election fraud. Your vote may not be counted, and someone else may vote four times. Yes, foreign governments are trying to influence the election through nefarious means. Of course the candidates are lying to us. Absolutely, the special interest groups buy elected officials. That is why it is so important to vote and be a part of the process. Remember… this is likely the most important election of our lifetime. It is your civic duty to be part of this corrupt and broken system. To not vote for the lesser of two evils is unpatriotic… and unChristian.”
