Jesse Duplantis Says God Wants Him To Have Cruise Ship To Go With His Plane
Jesse Duplantis, one of the leading prosperity preachers in America recently told his followers that God wants him to have a jet plane, and his faithful contributors are to pay for it. The plane he wants., or as he puts it, "God wants him to have" is a Dassault Falcon 7X and costs about $54 million. He says the plane would enable him to spread the good word around the globe more efficiently. As he has told people, "If Jesus were physically here today, He wouldn't be riding a donkey. He'd be in an airplane preaching the Gospel all over the world."
Apparently Jesus wouldn't be riding in a fishing boat either. Yesterday Jesse revealed to his followers that God told him He wanted him to have a cruise ship to go with his private jet. "I looked up and asked, 'You want me to have a cruise ship? How am I going to pay for a cruise ship? They must cost at least $645 million.' God looked down at me and said, 'I didn't call you to be a cruise ship buyer. I called you to preach the Gospel and be a cruise ship owner. Your fans will pay for it.'"
Duplantis understands that some people may not agree with spending over $50 million on a jet plane and over $500 million on a cruise ship. But he can explain. "When you are traveling around the world to preach the word, you don't want to have to wait in line with people at the airport, or stop to get fuel every 3,000 miles, or have people ask you questions when you are trying to hear from God in your airplane seat. When you are trying to reach people, you don't want people to get in the way. The same is true when you want to float off the coast of the islands. You just want to have your space and comforts before you go preach the 'word of faith' to millions of people stuck in poverty. Are they going to listen to you tell them they can be blessed if they see you getting off of a pontoon? Nawwww. You have to show proof of the blessing of God in your life if you want them to believe and become partners."
What's next for Jesse after a jet and cruise ship? "I don't know," says the rich televangelist. "Whenever I go into prayer, I never know what God will require of me. Perhaps a private island? Maybe one of those space force space ships? Who knows. As Paul said, 'The sky's the limit... for us. But with God all forms of opulence are possible.' And there's a guy who could have used a cruise ship. It beats being shipwrecked and bitten by a snake, now doesn't it?" Duplantis laughs.
