"Believe Me" - A Presidential Blog From The North Korea Summit
Hello Fellow Americans,
I'm very honored to be able to connect with you on a more direct level, thanks to the great people at Unverified Source. Great guys. They don't always get it right... but I like them. They are right up there with Fox News in that they are conservative, and right up there with CNN in that they mix in fake news with the real stuff. But great guys. I read them every day.
This is a crazy time for me. But not too crazy. I just want to take a few minutes to tell you what is going on. Right now I am in Singapore ready to talk with Kim. Not Kim Kardashian. I had an important summit with her last week. This Kim is the leader of North Korea. I call it the tale of two Kims. Believe me... They are both terrific Kims.
Kim Kardashian is married to Kanye West, who recently became a great spokesman for his people when he tweeted about how great I am. Kanye and Kim are quality people. Phenomenal role models. He is talented. She is beautiful. A lot of people don't know that about her. Beautiful person. I think they are going to be very successful.
Speaking of successful, what about that Kim Jong Un, huh?!? That guy has really got a grip on the reins of his country. Sometimes he gets a little crazy. Hey, I get a little crazy, right? But seriously, I think our meeting is going to go so well. But, it might not. I'm ready to negotiate. If he will agree to get rid of all of his nukes, I will give him anything he wants. If he doesn't agree to that, well, let's just say he needs to agree to that. And who wouldn't? He might be a tyrant, but he is a smart guy. Smart guy. He's smart enough to not try me on trade tariffs, unlike some other world leaders we know. That's all I'm going to say about that. But it is sad when you can have better meetings with leaders who threaten you with nukes than with those who are supposedly your friends. But who knows? We may reschedule these talks. It's happened before. I don't know.
But here we are in Singapore. Right? Singapore. Wonderful people. Nice little island. It's no Rhode Island. But it is nice. They are glad to see me. They must not be Democrats. Well, I need to go now. I'm about to have dinner with the President of Singapore. Or maybe it is the Prime Minister. It will be nice. I usually don't eat much at state dinners. I try to save room for a late night run to Mickey D's.
I will try to update you soon on how things are going. Keep Making America Great Again. God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.
P.S. - Let me give you an exclusive heads-up... Don't be surprised if you hear that I am considering a wall on our northern border to keep out bad feelings. I'll give you a guess as to who will pay for it. It won't be us. Believe me.
